New Logo Launched for Regional Rural Banks | “One State One RRB”

The Government of India has undertaken a major reform to strengthen rural banking and enhance financial inclusion across the country. Under the principle of “One State, One RRB,” 26 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across 11 states and Union Territories were consolidated effective May 1, 2025. This restructuring has streamlined operations, ensuring more efficient service delivery to rural communities.

Post-reform, India now has 28 RRBs operating in over 700 districts through more than 22,000 branches, providing comprehensive banking services to rural India. This consolidation aims to create a unified and modern identity for RRBs while reinforcing their role in promoting inclusive growth and rural development.

Alongside the merger, a new common logo has been launched for all RRBs, symbolizing their integrated identity. The upward arrow in the logo represents progress and development, while the hands signify cooperation and nurturing. The radiant flame reflects knowledge and empowerment. The color scheme carries symbolic significance: blue represents trust and stability, while green stands for growth and vitality.

This new identity reinforces RRBs’ commitment to financial inclusion, rural development, and the empowerment of communities across India. By combining modern banking practices with a strong focus on local needs, RRBs are poised to play a pivotal role in supporting economic growth and improving livelihoods in rural regions.

With this unified vision and identity, Regional Rural Banks continue to be a reliable partner for India’s rural population, driving sustainable development and inclusive prosperity.
